Paul Wayne Simpers, Jr. – One of a Kind

September 14th, 2018

One of a Kind

When I first met Mr. Simpers at the Monroe site, My first impression was that he was smart & forthright.

He wore denim blue jeans, boots and a Monroe shirt, And he wasn’t afraid of a little hard work.

At first, he was all business when the meetings came, By the end of the week, I learned his nickname.

Don’t let that smile fool you, he was all about getting the job done, If you worked hard, earned his respect, he just might poke a little fun.

He always took a minute to answer all questions, And even made time to debate or give you Pappy suggestions.

He was never short on humor and had a quick wit, And on no occasion boring and owned it every bit.

He made you feel like a member of a valued crew, It was a blessing and his powerful Kung Fu.

You know you’ve made it when Pappy says “You stink”, Then lowering his sunglasses, look side eyed & wink.

You know he teases and it is all out of love, He now watches over us all, from above.

This good guy known as Pappy, was our every day, The Monroe Family misses you in a big way!

Sheryn, Dana, Denise and Wayne > You were Pappy’s every-things, And know, Sept 10th, is the day that he received his wings.

Our Heartfelt Condolences
