  1. Dear Garvey family, I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Terry as a parent. I taught both his children and saw him often at our church and school. My son was in the ABVM Youth Group which he led. I couldn’t describe his personality or character better than others have already done. He will be missed!

  2. Mary,
I’m so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. I have many fond memories of our childhood and growing up with all of my Garvey cousins. Terry will be missed by many. Please know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers. God bless

  3. Terry had the rare ability to light up a room with his presence and leave a lasting memory on anyone there. He had such an amazing sense of humor and was the type of person that left you feeling better whenever you had the opportunity to be around him. He spoke with a genuine sincerity that always showed how much he cared, and with a clarity that never left you guessing where he really stood, and he did it through his amazing, booming voice that always sounded like it had passed through a megaphone before it made its way to you. Terry Garvey always lived up to his nickname, “coach,” and for all of us that were lucky enough to get to know him, he was always either the favorite coach and mentor we had from our past or the one we were never quite lucky enough to have. We’re going to miss you Coach!

  4. Terry made a lasting impact in my memory from the very first time I met him. He was loud, sure of himself without being cocky, and hilarious all at the same time, and that was infectious to me and so many others that knew him. We are grateful for the impact he made in our lives, and so many others in our company. We will never forget The Coach. Sending our love to Mary and the whole Garvey family. Thank you for sharing your incredible person with all of us.

Riding the waves and hanging out at the dock. Doing things that teenagers do at that time. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you Mary, Brian, Meghan and the rest of the family. Sincerely, Kathleen and Mitch Hancock.

  8. Terry was much more than a mentor and business partner to me. He was my friend. Many times he was my biggest supporter. He believed in me when others didn’t and his support and loyalty never swayed. I will never forget him and will continue on this journey for the both of our families. You will be missed but not forgotten my friend. Rest easy and sit back and watch the show. It’s gonna be epic just like we planned. Love you brother ❤️

  21. Coach Garvey will be dearly missed. He impacted more lives then he even knew he did. He always spoke directly, and from the heart. He connected with his audience with ease, and they could feel his message, not just hear it. Terry was salty and sweet at the same time, and his Symmetry family loved him for it. Rest In Peace Terry, you are loved and missed.
