Nelson M. Abbott, 81 years old, passed away December 14, 2007 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Born in Upland to the late William and Jennie Malin Abbott. Mr. Abbott was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, a devoted family man.

He resided in Linwood for over 50 years and was a member of Operating Engineers for many years employed as an equipment operator. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Mabel Palese, George Abbott, and Ernie Abbott. He is survived by his son Nelson J. Abbott, and his wife Patricia, brother William Abbott of Delaware and David Grasser of Linwood PA, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grand children.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service Monday, 11am, Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Calling at the funeral home 10-11am, Monday morning, burial following at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
