Melissa M. Kirkner, 51, of Sabinsville, PA passed away peacefully on February 3^rd, 2022 at UPMC Wellsboro Hospital in Wellsboro, PA.  Melissa was born in Chester and raised in Marcus Hook where she was a graduate of Chichester High School.  She worked as a healthcare aid for several companies over the years.  She also most recently worked for Flamingo Moving Company.  Melissa was proud that she earned her CDL License and drove trucks for a time as well.

She had a love of the outdoors.  She enjoyed camping and campfires.  Melissa was a kind spirit who loved to spend time with her family above all else.

She was predeceased by her mother, Jerene Ann Jones; daughter, Ceaira Lynn Kirkner; granddaughter, Hunter Lott; dad, Wally Rasmowicz; uncle, Richard “Tink” Ross.  She is survived by her children, James Stuart Kirkner, Walter Alfred Kirkner (Rachel), Michael Anthony Kirkner; grandchildren, Claudia Jerene Spencer, Isabella Marie Lott, Daniel Kirkner; aunts, Linda Ferguson and Debbie Lerner; uncles, Bill Jones and Steven Ross; life-long friend, Melody Dunn.

Friends and family are invited to her funeral service on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11am at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.  Following the service, a celebration of her life will be held at Clayton Park Picnic Area starting at 12pm.
