John T. King, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Monday, June 10th, 2024. John worked for many years at Concord Beverage before becoming a bulk mail truck driver until his retirement. He had a love of music and played in many rock bands throughout the years, including Mothers Headache with his cousin. The band was active on and off from 1985-2013. John was a caring son who took care of his ailing mother until her passing.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Mary King. He is survived by his sister, Theresa King-Burton; cousin, James Poulicci; several other cousins and friends.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at 12pm. Friends and family are invited to his viewing from 11am-12pm. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
