Gerald E. Zalewski, 65, of Denver, Pa passed away on Thursday, December 19th, 2013 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Lancaster. He was born to Edward and Rosemarie Zalewski in Chester, where he was raised and educated. Gerald was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 185 in Mt. Joy. He was also a founding member of the Mt. Joy American Legion Riders with whom he served as chaplain. Gerald was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Abate Liberty Chapter 69 and the Harleys Owners Group.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Rosanna Zalewski; 2 nephews, Mike Walters and Devin Magee; Niece, Sarah Magee. His funeral services and burial will be private.
