Just as his father had, Ed also was faced with burying his mother, in 2002. Everyone who knows Ed, knows he has a big heart and fantastic wit. He prides himself on remaining in Linwood and keeping his prices affordable. He supports the communities and churches and their causes and belongs to the Knights of Columbus, Holy Saviour Council. Ed has been approached by competitors in the area to sell his name or form a partnership. He thought of his grandmother’s and father’s loyalty to Linwood and simply was not interested at the time. The Wawa next door also expressed interest in the real estate. Ed chose to remain operating in Linwood, where he believes, as his family before him, he is needed. In his first ten years, business volume doubled.
