Raymond Walter Mamenko, 94; died peacefully in his sleep January 21, 2016 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital in Chester County. Born in Chester, Delaware County and most recently a resident of Claymont Delaware, Raymond was a longtime resident of Linwood, Lower Chichester.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WW II, and retired from Wells Fargo Bank. He was an elected Constable in Chichester and a longtime member of the Linwood Fire Company. In his final years Ray enjoyed visiting friends and walking at the Tri-State Mall in Claymont, Delaware.

Susan Marie Gilroy, 61, of Boothwyn passed away suddenly on January 26th, 2016 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. She was born in Philadelphia on November 27th, 1954. Susan was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1973. She worked in the claims department for Keystone Mercy/AmeriHealth in Essington for many years.

What she enjoyed most was being of service to St. John Fisher Church in Boothwyn. She served as a classroom aide and helped in sacramental preparation in the Religious education program for many years. She also volunteered for her favorite event, vacation bible camp. Robert E. Johnson, 82, of Woodlyn passed away on Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 at Little Flower Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Coatesville to the late Henry and Margaret Johnson. He was raised and educated in Chester, where he was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1951. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy with whom he served during the Korean Conflict.

He worked for General Electric for 40 years until his retirement. He was the shop steward for the IUE Local 119. He enjoyed fishing, boating, bowling and playing golf. As an avid bridge player, Bob attained the level of Grand Master. He was an eagle scout and was also active in coaching in the Folcroft Boys and Girls clubs.
