Frank Ritzel, Jr., 84 years old, passed away June 30, 2008 at Jennersville Regional Hospital. Born and raised in Chester to the late Frank and Laura Johnson Ritzel, Sr.

Mr. Ritzel was a resident of Linwood for 51 years, residing in Landenburg for the past 2 years. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater of Operations. He was employed by Phoenix Steel Corp. retiring after 32 years in 1982, working in the Special Finishing Department. He was a member of the Steelworkers Union.

He enjoyed wood working and trains and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Ritzel, nee Joseph and his parents. He is survived by his son Frank D. Ritzel and daughter in law Kathy with whom he made his home in Landenburg PA, 1 sister Marie Del Rossi of Upland, 2 grandchildren Erik and Elise.
