Joan K. Ricci , nee Walker, age 68, died August 7 at Lankenau Hospital. Joan was born in Chester to the late Joseph and Mary Walker and raised in Linwood. She attended Notre Dame High School and graduated in 1958. She resided in Upper Chichester for the past 44 years. Joan was a bookkeeper for Marcus Hook Florist for over 35 years. She loved to go shopping with her husband Mike, especially Fridays when they would meet her sister & husband, Marie & Joe, and good friends Butch and Joan to enjoy a good lunch and several good laughs.

Joan and Mike loved to travel and enjoy the history of our country and foreign lands. She was a wonderful homemaker who was devoted to her husband, Mike, son Michael and his wife Carole, daughter Christina and her husband Jim. She doted on her grandchildren Michael and Jack.

Joan enjoyed any family gatherings especially Christmas with the family. Joan was a longtime member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church and a fan of Notre Dame Football.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Walker and brother Jim Walker. Joan is survived by her husband Mike of 44 years, her son Michael, his wife Carole, their children, Michael and Jack. Daughter, Christina, her husband Jim. Sister and her husband, Marie and Joe Datillo, brother and wife, Joe and Cathy Walker, many mieces and nephews.
