John F. "Bro" Rappold, 62 years old, passed away August 11, 2008 at Crozer Chester Medical Center Upland. Born and raised in Coatesville PA to the late Liberty Bert and Mildred Pauline Miller Rappold. Mr. Rappold was a resident of Marcus Hook for the past 15 years previously residing in Chester PA.

He was employed by Milton Steel Co in Coatesville where he was employed for 35 years at the same plant which had changed names several times. He was a member of the Steelworkers Union. Uncle John was an avid poker player and enjoyed fishing.

Family was a large part of Uncle John's life and he was very devoted to his sisters and their children. Uncle John was a true flower child of the 60's, enjoyed the fairer sex and was a gentle, kind and loving man.

Uncle John was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sisters Peggy Gusler of Claymont DE, Bonnie Banks of Marcus Hook, Alice Killian of Lewes, DE,  and Cheryl Dunn of Rehobeth, DE, a tribe of nieces and nephews and his extended family at CCMC MICU who took excellent care of him.

Family and friends are invited to his funeral service Saturday 11am from Joseph A.
