Patricia M. "Patty" Phillips, 55 years old of Wilmington DE, passed away June 16, 2008 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Upland to Richard and Jean Maurer Phillips and raised in Boothwyn section of Upper Chichester, Patty graduated from Chichester High School.

She was employed by Kerns Brothers Tree Service of Wilmington DE for the past 20 years. Patty loved camping and the beach and she and her fiance enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks of NC.

Patty was a member of Linwood United Methodist Church and was devoted to her family, enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Richard D. Phillips. She is survived by her mother Jean Phillips of Boothwyn, fiance Robert "Scrooge" Kerns of Wilmington DE, 3 sisters Debra Lee of Newark DE, Rhonda Messner of Arizona, and Renee Grady of Claymont DE, 1 brother Donald Phillips of Newark DE, and nieces and nephews.
